UK TJ 2007 annual bash at barbiequeens.

Postby Supercrew » Thu Dec 28, 2006 11:39 am

 , Well that was a laugh and a half that bash in december....ok if theres some of you that don't know yet..... Barbiequeen, my sis in law (bless her cotton socks) has opened her home for the future UK annual bash...irrespective of whatever anyone else feels like organizing throughout the year.
I'm already collating all the info, so..if you are attending then you've all got plenty of warning....don't know the exact dates of the August bank holiday yet but main day will be the saturday.
Wolv' n mucho take note...none attendance will not be tolerated
Anyone got any questions..but more importantly, suggestions as to how we can do even bigger and better bashes then get hold of me or sosamsaric.
I've had a slight holiday from TJ for various reasons but I am back and very keen to make this ..the 2007 annual bash a raving success.... so come on folks..lets have some ideas plz

Thanks for co-ordinating Bruv
Red you and yours more than welcome hon :D

Firstly the official party date.... Sat 25 / Sun 26 August 2007
(monday 27th is bank holiday in UK so no work for the majority)

Supercrew, trust you and chewi getting to me a few days earlier for the set up hon :D

Local places to stay..

Church Farm Holiday Village, Pagham, West Sussex - walking distance - very good caravan site - most caravans are for 8 people so sharing would cut costs

Kings Beach Hotel, Pagham - pub/hotel - reasonable rates - nice landlady - walking distance

Butlins holiday centre - approx 4 miles - bus from Bognor to Pagham no problem

My floor - always room for strays :D :D (Brick, Tav3rn I'll keep your room open for you)

hope above accomodation options are helpful - don't forget your swimsuits either - beach is only 5 min walk :) :)

BEEN CHECKING FLIGHTS

Postby queenofspades » Thu Dec 28, 2006 4:06 pm

I have been checking flights and they are more than double that time of year LOL... I paid only $444. to come over in December and it cost $1100. to come over in Aug...so I may not make it to the next one...and I should probably go to the main USA one...hmmm decisions, decisions lol
And it's funny..if I came over in January..its less than $300.

Aaaw Queenie, wait till later in year - hopefully they will start passing out cheaper last minute deals - so keep your options open and book time off work now! - just in case :)
