Jacks

Jacks are the new currency within Triplejack. Right now, this currency is used to pay for bombs and charms within the game, but in the future, Jacks will be used for much more. Like what? Well, we can't tell you just yet, but for now you can spend your Jacks on bombs and charms and even give them to friends.

How to get Jacks

Every Power Player will receive Jacks every time they renew their subscription. Here is a simple chart to show you how many Jacks you get with your Power Player subscription:

• Monthly subscription - 4,000 “bonus” Jacks each month
• 6 Month subscription - 24,000 “bonus” Jacks every 6 months
• 1 Year subscription - 48,000 “bonus” Jacks every year

*Free Trials - Note that if you choose a subscription option that has a 2 week free trial, you will receive 2000 “bonus” Jacks with your free trial, then once your paid subscription begins, you will received the additional “bonus” Jacks as outlined above.

What are “bonus” Jacks?

Bonus Jacks are Jacks that can only be spent in the game by yourself. You can not give “bonus” Jacks to a friend or buy Power Player with them, but they can be spent on bombs, charms and many other features that are coming soon. Bonus Jacks are always spent first automatically when using Jacks so that your regular Jacks can be preserved for things that require regular Jacks.

Earning Jacks

You will earn Jacks just for playing Triplejack. The more hands you play and win, the more Jacks will be automatically added to your account. Power Players earn twice as many Jacks through game play than non Power Players.

Winning Jacks

You will find that there are MANY ways to win Jacks. We have changed many of our prize tournaments to give away Jacks automatically. No more waiting for your prize. Most of the prize tournaments will now give you Jacks. These Jacks can be used to pay for your Power Player subscription and you can easily give Jacks to friends.

Buying Jacks

You can use PlaySpan/Ultimate Game Card or LoadCentral to buy additional Jacks. Here is a chart of the options for buying additional Jacks: (additional options may be available when using Ultimate Game Card or LoadCentral)

• US $5.95 for 8,150 Jacks
• US $29.95 for 41,025 Jacks
• US $54.95 for 75,275 Jacks

Giving Jacks to a friend

You can give Jacks to a friend by clicking on the My Account tab, then My Jacks, then click the link that says “Give Some Jacks to Someone”.

Using Jacks

• Bombs & Charms - You will see now that the “Bombs & Things” menu under the “View” tab now displays the bombs and charms as well as the number of Jacks that will be spent by using that feature. These Jacks will be deducted automatically from your Jacks balance. Bombs and charms range in cost from 8-20 Jacks. When using your Jacks on bombs and charms, Triplejack will always use your Bonus Jacks first if you have any, then your regular Jacks.

• Sponsoring Jacks Prize Tournaments - You can put up some of your own Jacks for others to win! Many Triplejack players have sponsored Power Player tournaments in the past to show their generosity, and now it is an official feature! To use this feature, create a Single or Multi Table Tournament, and then scroll down and find the Jacks To Sponsor control. Note that you must have at least 1,000 “real” Jacks to sponsor, and the control will not be visible if you don't have enough. Single table tournaments will begin automatically once all seats are filled and multi-table tournaments start when the owner clicks the start button in the lobby. The sponsor does not have to play in the tourney, but you must be present when the final seat is filled and the tourney begins. The sponsor can play and will still get the contribution to the Tournament Sponsor medal if they do not play.

• Buying Power Player for yourself - To use your Jacks to buy Power Player for yourself simply click My Account tab, then My Jacks and click the button that says “Activate 1 Month Power Player”

• Buying Power Player for a friend - To use your Jacks to buy Power Player for someone else, simply use the “Give Some Jacks to Someone” link and give them 8,150 Jacks, the cost of 1 month of Power Player. Of course you can also give them as many Jacks as you wish.

Why did we do this?

Glad you asked! Our grand scheme is to rule the world and we thought creating a new currency was a good way to start. Actually, we want to bring you lots of new features and creating this in-game currency will allow us to create features that people can have if they want and other people can skip if they do not want them. It enables us to add a huge realm of features which will come over time and those who want to spend their currency on them can while others can simply hoard it all or give it away. It's all up to you.

What if I like to bomb everyone like crazy and I run out of Jacks?

Well, we designed our currency and the amount that each player gets, as well as the amount of prize tournaments in such a way that 99% of players will not likely run out of Jacks just from throwing bombs. If you do, then you will likely end up on the bombardier leader board and be world famous, but you may also need to shell out a few bucks to buy some more Jacks or at least work on your poker skills and win some tournaments. A small price for fame!

How do I check how many Jacks I have?

Simply click on the MyAccount menu then My Jacks and you will be able to see your Jacks balance.

Why do some people have Jacks and others do not?

This is because we have handed out Jacks retroactively to all users who have subscribed as a Power Player via PayPal or ClickandBuy. If you recently subscribed or renewed automatically, you were given the appropriate number of Jacks based on the amount of time left on your subscription. If you do not have any Jacks, you can get some via the promo link on the home page, win some in many new prize tournaments and high-hand prizes or you can even buy some by clicking MyAccount and then Get More Jacks.
